Alysha Dukehart
Certifications:
Alysha is Pilates certified through Polestar as well as B-Fit University, NASM, B-Fit Yoga, BOSU, Resist-A-Ball, Powerflex Weight Training, Reaction Cycling, Kwando, Kwando-Strike, Urban Rebound, and Step.
Experience:
Alysha is a well-rounded fitness instructor. Her journey started at the age of nine when she would take her mom’s aerobic classes. In 2004 Alysha became a certified instructor and taught a wide range of classes from Pilates and Yoga to weight training to high intensity cardio. She believes there is nothing else in the world that can strengthen your core like Pilates!
Philosophy:
“You can do anything you set your mind to. Something I learned from my mom. Your mind is the most important muscle to train. It is the one that always wants you to give up and stops you from reaching your goals but train it to be positive. Train your mind to tell yourself you can, train your mind to focus on your goals, train your mind to go just one step farther each time and you’ll be amazed at where it will take you not only in the fitness world but in your life in general. Just continue to train your mind!”
Favorite Pilates exercise:
“I love anything with a pike! Regular pikes, reverse pikes, moves that incorporate pikes, you name it, I like it. My favorite pike would have to be with your toes on the foot bar and hands on the shoulder rests, inhale out into a plank and then exhale up into a reverse pike. Not only do you get the full body benefits of the plank but then you have to really use those abs to drive your hips up to the ceiling.”
Inspiration to become a Pilates Instructor:
“I believe that Pilates is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Not only does it strengthen your core but it helps prevent many injuries, keeps you flexible and anyone can reap the benefits from it no matter what fitness level, injuries or disabilities they might have.”
Fitness related hobbies:
Alysha loves to mix up her fitness routine to keep it fun and invigorating. Her favorites are: running, weight training, hot yoga and dancing.

Our certified instructors are extensively trained in all of the equipment used in our studio. They will guide you to a longer, leaner body using our arsenal of Pilates exercises. They will change your routine each session to see lasting results and can modify or intensify each exercise according to your fitness level.
