B-Fit University, BOSU, Kwando & Kwando, NASM, Polestar, Powerflex, Reaction Cycling, Resist-A-Ball, Strike, Step, Urban Rebound.

Experience:
Amber has been a Pilates instructor since 2001 and a fitness instructor since 2000. She received her Pilates certification through Polestar and is currently training through Balanced Body University. She was in competitive dance for seven years and was also on her high school drill team and cheer squad.

Philosophy:
“Never give up because you just don’t know how close you are to the finish line.”

Favorite Pilates Exercise:
“The Plank is my favorite exercise because it strengthens and tones multiple muscle groups at one time. It especially strengthens the lower back and core. It is a fun exercise that has many variations to keep it challenging, no matter what level of fitness you are.”

Inspiration to become a Pilates instructor:
“My mom has been a major role-model and the reason why I became an instructor. She has been in the fitness industry for over 18 years and taught me so much about myself and life through exercise. I learned to believe in myself, to never give up, to strive for that goal no matter how challenging it is and the feeling of accomplishment because of her. When working out, it’s the insides of your body that are the most important thing to focus on and the physical appearance is just the bonus of it. When I turned 18, I decided to become an instructor because I wanted to share all that I have learned with other people. I love to see someone accomplish their goals and to feel like they have succeeded. The best part is when someone takes what they have learned in the gym and applies it to their life.”


Fitness related hobbies:

Amber loves rollerblading, running, snowboarding, tennis and anything that is fun and outside. She is also trying to take up golf!
 
   

Our certified instructors are extensively trained in all of the equipment used in our studio. They will guide you to a longer, leaner body using our arsenal of Pilates exercises. They will change your routine each session to see lasting results and can modify or intensify each exercise according to your fitness level.
